YOU CAN DO IT! |
 |
As the northern training
site for the British Disabled Water
Ski Association, our aim is to introduce
newcomers to this thrilling sport who
due to their disabilities have not considered
such a challenge is possible. We also
hope to further your skills to a higher
level so you ultimately may have the
confidence to ski at an able bodied
ski site nearer your home.

Whether you're visually
impaired, a leg amputee, in a wheelchair
or have learning disabilities our Centre
has the equipment and guidance for you
to forget the restrictions of land and
feel the freedom of water - a visit
to us can often be a life changing experience!
For example, life long wheel chair users
need exercise and may never have had
the opportunity to take control of something
fast in their life
..water skiing
on a sit ski provides an outrageous
adrenaline rush but is safe and helps
to keep your body in good condition.

We do hold special taster
days if you feel there is safety in
numbers (!) and hold courses through
organisations like Back Up for the spinally
injured and The Winged Fellowship Trust - holidays for the visually impaired. |
